Whistler Wine Merchants offers personalized wine service within the Sea to Sky Corridor. We deliver specialty wine products as well as provide industry services including tastings, staff training, menu design, and wine list consulting. Our dependable direct delivery wine services serve local businesses and events with same-day or next-day delivery.
After 10 years of operation, we have a strong understanding of what is important to our clients. Based in Whistler, we know what is imperative to the success of businesses in the area and aim to offer an elevated level of service.
Founder Story
Whistler Wine Merchants founder, Jared, was first introduced to the wine industry through a friend of a friend. A winery was on the hunt for a new sales agent and as a wine lover, eager to learn, he jumped on the opportunity.
In 2013, Jared founded Whistler Wine Merchants to provide a blanket of service that was unprecedented in the Sea to Sky corridor.
Jared loves everything the wine industry offers, but especially the great people involved. He enjoys making real connections with wine producers, restaurant and store owners, and the wonderful support staff behind the businesses.
When it comes to wine, Jared is continuously inspired by the delivery of the new and amazing things Mother Nature offers each year. To him, wine is both simple and complex and provides a direct connection to land, climate, and history.
Jared has a true appreciation for all types of wine. He believes there is a time and a place for all varietals and styles. Currently, he is really excited about Pinot Noir from BC and has an affinity for the exceptional Syrahs that BC has to offer.
